About the Author
Kent Hinckley
Born and raised in Palo Alto, Kent graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Political Science. After college he joined the Army and spent a year in Nha Trang, Vietnam, as an intelligence officer and battalion adjutant.
He later spent five years in Asia — Taipei and Tokyo — in international banking, and afterward worked in real estate. Those years, from the war to the wider world, gave him the eye for character and history that runs through every one of his novels.
Kent and his wife live in San Diego.
